Broadcast Email Request

Request to send a broadcast email from Wake Forest University to an external audience (alumni, parents, friends). NOTE: If you have not requested a recipient list, please do so now at the UA Help Desk.

  • Email Details

  • Enter the recipient list name as provided by the UA Technologies team. If you do not have a list name, or have not yet contacted UA Technologies to request a list, please do so before submitting this email request. Make a request through the UA Help Desk (preferred) or via email at uatech@nullwfu.edu.

  • Enter the send date for the email. Please allow a lead time of at least two business days.


    Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY

  • Enter the name or title that will appear in the email's From field. It can be a person's name, department name, school or program. Names longer than 25 characters may be truncated when users view the email.

  • Enter the email address for replies. This must be an @wfu.edu email address that is frequently checked. Make sure the owner of the address knows that it is being used as a reply-to address.

  • Do not exceed about 50 characters. See this Mailchimp article on subject line best practices.

  • Enter text for the body of the email message below. Use only simple formatting such as bold, centered and italicized text. Do not use background colors or text colors. Alternatively, you may upload a Word or text document using the File Upload field below.

  • Upload all documents required for the email, such as a Word documents or images. Do not upload recipient lists. IMPORTANT: Links in Word documents should be provided as complete URLs and NOT as hyperlinks within the document. If you are submitting an email message formatted as an image, please also provide a text version of the message. If you are submitting an image file, it must be a minimum of 600 pixels wide. Any text on the image must be legible if the image is reduced to 320 pixels wide for mobile devices.
