Digital Communications, part of Communications and External Relations (CER) within University Advancement, provides strategic direction and implementation services for Wake Forest University’s website and associated web properties.
Our team is responsible for the development and maintenance of WordPress, the University’s content management system, and the integration of content and design services consistent with our identity standards and web style guide.
What We Offer
Digital Communication provides design and development support to other campus units whose websites are within the CER WordPress environment.
Our services include:

- Broadcast Emails
- WordPress CMS training
- Livestream support
- Campus map updates
- Siteimprove support (Siteimprove can find broken links, grammatical errors and other content issues, as well as help with digital accessibility standards compliance. Select WFU sites only).
- Analytics reporting (Leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and CrazyEgg to track performance on sites within our WordPress environment).
We also partner with University Advancement IT in support of various Wake Forest University services, as well as other divisions within CER, including Creative Services and Wake Forest News.
